ustice Qazi Faez Isa was born on October 26, 1959, in Quetta, into a distinguished family with a rich history of involvement in the Pakistan Movement. His father, the late Qazi Mohammad Isa, played a significant role in the forefront of the Pakistan Movement, and his grandfather, Qazi Jalaluddin, served as the Prime Minister of Kalat State before Independence. His mother, Begum Saida Isa, was a dedicated social worker who contributed her efforts in an honorary capacity on the Boards of hospitals and other charitable organizations. Justice Isa is married and has two grown-up children.
His educational journey began with primary and secondary education in Quetta. He pursued his “O” and “A” levels at Karachi Grammar School and furthered his education by obtaining a B.A. (Honors) in Law from London. Continuing his academic pursuits, Chief Justice Isa completed his Bar Professional Examination from the Inns of Court School of Law in London and was subsequently called to the Bar of England and Wales, specifically the Middle Temple, in 1982.

President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has the appointed Qazi Faez isa as a Chief justice of Pakistan. Notification will be on 17 September 2023 when under Article 179 of the constitution justice Umar ata Badyal will retired on 17 September 2023 then justice Faez isa will oath Chief Justice of Pakistan.
